Batley needed a spark from the bench it came from Lillycrop and Gledhill along with James Harrison but Gledhill got the dogs on the scoreboard as they trailed by twelve at the half time break.

Batley needed to improve after the break and didn’t as the lions scored their fourth try from hooker Halafihi but the home side hit back as Gledhill and David Scott added three tries between them, Dom Brambani added 4 goals to his season collection.

Swinton took the game away from Batley as Marshall added his second and Fell sealed the two points and take away Batley’s home record in a poor afternoon for the home side as they travel to Leigh next Sunday 3pm.
