The Bulldogs went top after terrific second half performance against Workington Town scoring thirty unanswered points. Coach John Kear wants his side to focused and keep their feet on the ground after going top last weekend he also added “I’d sooner be top than bottom! It is one for the fans, they can really enjoy where we are on the ladder at the minute, but we have played five games and after we’ve played Bradford on Sunday we will be a quarter of the way through the season”

Kear also added they were good again,” he said of his side’s performance. I thought they might get carried away and not give the opposition the respect they deserved, but they did and I was pleased about that.”  Bulldogs could welcome back Joe Chandler and James Davey but the Bulldogs didn’t have no major injuries but Wayne Reittie and Alex Bretherton needed stitching, Chris Ulugia on loan from the Bulls will face his former employees in the top of the table clash along with Cain Southernwood and Shaun Ainscough.
